Agriculture Day
Lisa Burgarino of Aspire Real Estate Group checked out a tractor at Eis Implement.

The Leadership Manitowoc County class took part in Agriculture Day on Wednesday.

Class members visited Henning's Cheese, Soaring Eagle Dairy and Eis Implement. They were also given presentations by Investors Community Bank, whose main focus is on agricultural lending, and also by a representative of Farm Wisconsin Discovery Center, which opens to the public on July 28.


Ribbon Cutting at Shoreline Credit Union



Shoreline Credit Union hosted a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at their newly remodeled branch in Two Rivers.

Attendees and staff also celebrated with a tribute to Shoreline's roots at Hamilton Manufacturing Company.


Lunch & Learn: "Social Media Marketing: Which Application is Right for Your Business?"
 

The Chamber of Manitowoc County hosted a Lunch & Learn at the Manitowoc Public Library on Thursday entitled, "Social Media Marketing: Which Application is Right for Your Business?"


Presenters were Stefanie Lighthall of Schenck SC, Megean Lauson and Rachel Beck of Modern by Megean Contemporary Jewelry, and Natalie Weber Hamilton of graced. Gaby Cappaert of Engaged Marketing Co. facilitated the event.

Lunch was sponsored by Felician Village.

  Winning Criteria

All evaluation forms completed by participating organizations will be entered for several prizes donated by local businesses.

Young Professionals Week (YPWeek) is April 21 - 28, 2018.

The Young Professionals of Manitowoc County are proud to represent Manitowoc County in this statewide initiative for the second time in 2018.

YPWeek 2018 is a statewide collaboration led by NEWaukee to engage and attract young talent in Wisconsin and is represented by 28 different communities and continues to grow each year!

Take Note Studio
Manitowoc's Take Note Studio earns Kindermusik International honors
Take Note Studio, a Manitowoc-based music lesson studio, has been named a Maestro Producer and a Maestro in Outreach by Kindermusik International, the world's leading publisher of music and movement programs for children ages 0-7.
Jessica Hanson, director, is an early childhood specialist at Take Note Studio and provides Kindermusik classes in Manitowoc and Kohler. The Maestro Producer award recognizes excellence in the top 5 percent of growing studios worldwide. The Maestro in Outreach award is given to only 20 educators who provide music classes and therapy to at-risk children.
"The Kindermusik Maestro has a mission: helping children become better learners and helping parents understand how to help them reach their highest potential," said Scott Kinsey, CEO at Kindermusik International.
