The Chamber Notebook:
Berkshire Hathaway Homeservices Starck Real Estate

Buying and selling real estate in Manitowoc just got easier. Local real estate expert, Amy Townsend, has teamed up with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Starck Real Estate and has opened an office at 907 S. 8th Street as the managing broker.

Starck Real Estate has been assisting home buyers and sellers in the Chicago area since 1960. Now an affiliate of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, Starck brings its successful business model along with an arsenal of technology tools to assist its Manitowoc area clients in finding and selling homes.

Guided by their principles of honesty, integrity, and hard work, President Andy Starck and his son Aaron Starck, CIO, see potential in the market. "We see significant opportunities in the Manitowoc real estate market," states Andy, "And we are excited about our partnership with Amy. My experience has shown me that partnerships built on trust, more often than not, lead to successful results. Amy not only has the knowledge and drive we were looking for but most importantly, the integrity."

Starck is a full-service real estate brokerage with 500 real estate professionals and 16 regional offices throughout suburban Chicagoland and is in the top 1% of all real estate companies in the nation. Still wholly family owned, the brokerage is run by Andy Starck, President, third generation Aaron Starck, Chief Information Officer, and Jim Toulon, Chief Operating Officer.

Tyler Freitag

Meet Tyler Freitag, Marketing Coordinator for Shoreline Credit Union. Tyler loves Manitowoc County because of the many opportunities it has offered him professionally and personally. Read on to find out more reasons why Tyler Thinks, Loves and Plays in Manitowoc County.

What do you love about our County: I love living and working in Manitowoc County because there are a lot of fun activities to keep me busy. I enjoy the small community aspect of Manitowoc County because you get to know and network with many great people and really make a difference! Working at Shoreline Credit Union has given me the opportunity to help so many charitable organizations as well as provide Marketing support for non-profits and the large amount of events we sponsor.

Share a positive experience you've had in Manitowoc County: I have had a lot of positive experiences in Manitowoc County, but one of the most memorable was my time at Lakeshore Technical College. I achieved an Associates Degree in Marketing and Sales during my time there. I enjoyed my studies and learned about Manitowoc County's place in the global economy. I feel that LTC is a great resource to help students gain a good education at a modest cost. I met many people at LTC that I still have a relationship with today.

Why did you choose our County: I chose Manitowoc County because I believe it is a great place for young people like me to grow and flourish professionally. There are lots of opportunities in our area that help provide a great standard of living and less stressful living than larger cities. I cannot wait to see what the next few years hold for all of us here in Manitowoc. I will continue to Think, Love and Play right here in Manitowoc County.
