Volunteer to Decorate Shriners Children's Rose Parade Float

Shriners Children's is excited to invite Shriners, ladies, friends and family members to join us in Irwindale, California, to help decorate our Rose Parade float! Our float's theme, Hope Shines On, captures the transformative power of care we provide at Shriners Children's, inspiring our patients to dream of a bright, joyful future full of endless opportunities.

Dry decorating days are the first three weeks of December, and all floral decoration takes place every day from December 26-30. All skill levels, ages and abilities are welcome! From cutting petals to applying live flowers to the float, there's a job for everyone.

There is a group of Moslah ladies planning to participate in decorating on December 29th & 30th, and they would love to have others join them. If interested, please contact ellen@cotyowenselectric.com.

Masonic Temple Memorial Walkway

The Masonic Temple Memorial Walkway is under construction! Thanks to all of our Masonic bodies, members, families and supporters who have gotten us to a great start. This is Phase One, which will complete about 25% of our goal. Phase One proceeds are scheduled to be used to completely refurbish the ballroom floor, convert a second floor restroom for handicap access, and other projects pending board approval. Your support is making a difference!

Phase Two is now under subscription! Our plan is to close Phase Two by December 31. To buy bricks, you can find the order form at fwmasonictemple.com, through the Moslah Shrine or Fort Worth Scottish Rite offices, or by contacting Moe Rahmeh, Tom Crow or Jeff Eaton.

Let’s continue to honor our past to support our future!
