What is the Business Networking Extravaganza?

It’s your exclusive opportunity as an MSC Business Member to personally connect with 100+ camp decision-makers with strong purchasing power!

Here’s how the days works:

Camp representatives eagerly participate in an educational workshop during the morning, while MSC Business Members set up their displays and enjoy lunch. At 12:30, the Networking Extravaganza begins! Camp directors visit each table, giving businesses the opportunity for face-to-face sales. 

Keep in mind that the camps appreciate “show specials”, which MSC may help to promote. The “MSC Mega Raffle” is held at 2:45 PM, and all must be present to win. Please consider a contribution to the raffle – it’s another great way for a business to show their support for potential customers.

MSC Businesses Can Register for Free!

Rules & Realities:

• Businesses may set up anytime from 10:30am on. Please be ready for show time by 12:15pm.
• Every business will share an eight-foot table with one other business, unless you choose to purchase your own six-foot table for $100. Event sponsors will each get their own table. All tables will be draped.
• One free lunch will be provided to each business; you may purchase additional lunches ahead of time for $30 each. Sponsors get up to 4 free lunches.
• Your entire display needs to fit on your half of the table (no large equipment like kayaks, canoes, golf carts, etc.)
• Pop-up type of banners/displays must be 4’ or less wide (6' or less if you have your own table) and not be blocking other exhibitors or the flow of traffic.
• No amplified music/sound. Camps are great neighbors and expect the same of you! Minimize loud noise and respect nearby conversations.
• You may give out samples and/or have “door prizes.”
• There are a limited number of electrical outlets available – make sure your laptop, devices, phones, etc... are fully charged.
• In order for MSC to plan for the event, the registration process will end at 4 pm on Friday, January 3, 2025.
• For camp staff to be eligible for the raffle drawings, they need to visit the businesses. They will get a raffle ticket from each business they visit – the more businesses they visit, the more opportunities they have to win! We have had great prizes in the past because we have amazing MSC Business Members who donate them.

3. Begin planning your display/exhibit.

4. Decide on your show specials and let us know what they are by Friday, January 3, 2025.

5. Donate a raffle item or prize and benefit from additional publicity. Please let us know on or before 4 pm on Friday, January 3, 2025.

If you are traveling a distance, take advantage of the $89 Extravaganza Room Rate offered by the DoubleTree. And remember, the Portland JetPort is a short shuttle ride away and the DoubleTree Hilton-Portland provides shuttle service.
