Established in 2016 in Santa Ana by local author Sarah Rafael García, LibroMobile Arts Cooperative (LMAC) is a community-based collaboration between a bookstore and cultural center practices. As a hybrid nonprofit, LMAC cultivates diversity through literature and the arts by prioritizing Black, Indigenous, people of color, local authors, libros en español and integrating free reading and writing programs, visual exhibits of local artists at Crear Studio, as well as year-round creative workshops in Santa Ana, and its surrounding areas. Business Assistance Workshop


The City of Santa Ana’s Economic Development Division is hosting a Business Assistance Workshop at Santa Ana City Hall on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, from 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM in Room 1600.

 

This workshop is beneficial to new and existing businesses who need technical assistance or help with navigating the business process in Santa Ana. You’ll learn about the resources available to help entrepreneurs and have the opportunity to get your questions answered by city staff as you begin or continue your business journey. The workshop will be offered in English and Spanish.

Request for Qualifications (RFQ)


The City of Santa Ana’s Arts & Culture Office, in collaboration with our Sister City, Sahuayo, Mexico, is inviting professional artists or artist teams who live or work in Santa Ana to submit their qualifications for a mural project.


The wall is located on the south-facing exterior of Garage B/5th & Spurgeon (overlooking Calle Cuatro Plaza) at 300 E. 5th St. The total budget for the project is $20,000 (inclusive of materials, artist fees, and installation). Mural installation is anticipated for Spring 2025.


The deadline for application submission is Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at 11:59 PM (PST) and must be submitted online via Submittable.com, using the link below to apply.
