Grants, Funding and Resources

EnAbling Change Program

The EnAbling Change Program provides grants of between $5,000 and $150,000 to not-for-profit organizations to educate their stakeholders about accessibility. Applications close June 27, 2024 at 5:00 pm EST. APPLY HERE

FedDev Funding Spring Intake

FedDev Ontario has launched the spring intake of applications for our region (note: the Ottawa Valley is considered the southern region). The application period is open now until June 24th, 2024. Funding of $125,000 up to $10 million is available for both incorporated businesses and not-for-profit organizations. APPLY HERE

Ontario Trillium Foundation Seed Grant

The Ontario Trillium Foundation Seed Grand funding is offering $10,000 to $100,000 available for eligible projects. The application period is open now until June 26th, 2024. Eligible applicants include non-profit organizations, indigenous communities, municipalities, libraries or local service boards with a population under 20,000, collaborative and religious entities. Rural Perspectives on Economic and Social Trends in Canada - Presentation by Nik Nanos

A great presentation by Nik Nanos, presented by Algonquin College Waterfront Campus. His presentation on the state of economic and social trends is very enlightening!

Community Improvement Plan (CIP)

Commercial land and business owners in Petawawa are eligible to receive CIP grants for planned upgrades and improvements to their properties. This is a matching fund program that has been replenished for 2024. Reach out to your EDO to learn about the application and approval process.
