The Workforce Development Board serves as your source for all training and development resources to ensure that Madera County remains a growing and prosperous community.

CELEBRATING WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT MONTH

The Workforce Development Board of Madera County was honored to have received a Proclamation from the Madera County Board of Supervisors recognizing September 2025 as Workforce Development Month.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the Board for acknowledging the vital role that workforce development plays in our community. This recognition reaffirms our ongoing commitment to empowering job seekers, supporting local businesses, and strengthening Madera County’s workforce.

Each September, we highlight the importance of workforce programs in strengthening communities and economies. These efforts connect job seekers with employers, help individuals build careers, and businesses develop skilled teams.

On September 26, we celebrated Workforce Development Professionals Day, honoring the hard work of staff who support these programs. It was wonderful to have Board members join us in this celebration.

Workforce Development Month serves as a reminder of the significant impact these services have on people’s lives and the growth of Madera County’s economy.

CWA: MEETING OF THE MINDS 2025

The Monterey Conference Center provided an ideal setting for this gathering, facilitating valuable discussions aimed at enhancing both cultural and economic development.
