Cleaning Supplies

The CPH Administration and Finance Office has a large stock of cleaning supplies. Items currently housed are sanitizing wipes, hand sanitizer, rubber gloves, and Swiffer dusters.

If your office needs any of these items, please stop by Research Facility #1, Suite 102. Office hours are Monday through Friday 8am-4pm.

Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) - Requirements

Purpose - To set forth requirements for persons driving University-owned, personal or rental vehicles when acting as an agent of the University or its affiliated corporations listed in Business Procedure E-1-0.

Policy - A person employed by the University may be permitted to drive a University-owned, personal or rental vehicle when traveling on University business when the following guidelines have been met:

Department administrator or chair approves
The driver

possesses a valid operator’s license
submits an MVR Release Form to Risk Management
has a minimum of five years driving experience
has no health problems which limit or restrict driver licensing
has been involved in no more than two at-fault accidents in the past three years
MVR’s that have six or more deficiency points, as determined by the State
Motor Vehicle Records, will result in the review of driving privileges

As travel begins to increase, please ensure that you have an MVR Release Form on record with Risk Management.

Experienced Leader Academy

Based on the book Leadership from the Inside Out by Kevin Cashman, this academy encourages and supports you in continuing to maximize your leadership potential.

In addition to weekly Zoom meetings, you’ll also have access to the Microsoft Teams channel.

The program runs 10:30 a.m. to noon every Wednesday for nine weeks, beginning September 21.

The cost to attend is $100. Upon acceptance in the academy, you will receive a copy of the book and a few additional items.

FAST Procurement Courses in myUK

In conjunction with the FAST (Finance and Administration Specialized Training) Program, three basic and introductory procurement courses are now available in myUK Learning. Any University employee can locate, book, and take the courses to learn more information on procurement basics and how to conduct purchase transactions on behalf of their area(s). Each course is approximately 30 minutes in length and has interactive quizzes. Courses are designed to assist employees new to purchasing for their area(s) or any person who would like to strengthen their understanding of University procurement processes.

A fourth course, FAST Amazon Business, is also available in myUK Learning as an overview course for using the Enterprise Amazon Business Account via myUK Enterprise Services.
