Surplus Property – New Online Browsing Catalog
A new online browsing catalog is now available for departments to view available items for checkout and transfer from Surplus Property. Residing on the GovDeals.com website apart from public sale items, the catalog is available to departments to view a portion of items currently available from Surplus Property. The browsing catalog shows both common and unique available items with pictures and extended information. It is only available to University departments to view available items for transfer; these items are not available to the general public and are not for sale.
If departments are interested in selecting any item(s) for transfer to their department, please contact Surplus Property to physically view, reserve, or checkout items. To access the browsing catalog:

Go to the Purchasing website
- Log in at the top right using your linkblue ID and password
- Click the Surplus selection in the top menu
- Select tile for Surplus Items Available for Departmental Transfer
The resultant page provides information on the various ways to view or request transfer of Surplus Property for your department including login information for the new online browsing catalog. There is no Shopping Cart or checkout functionality on the browsing catalog; contact Surplus Property to reserve or check out items of interest. There is no cost to transfer needed items; charges are applicable for any items requiring delivery.
Surplus Property – FAST Course Now Available in myUK
Learning
A new course, FAST Surplus Property, is now available to take on-demand in myUK Learning. The course overs various operational aspects of the Surplus Property Office including how departments can view and transfer available items for use within their departments. To take the course, simply access myUK Learning from the Employee Self-Service tab to reach the learning platform. Upon arrival, use the Find Learning search box at the top right with keyword phrase FAST Surplus. The course is approximately 30 minutes and of value to any staff or faculty interested in learning about Surplus Property operations and how to transfer items to your department.
