You are invited to apply for funding up to $1,500 to help defray the costs of special seminars and/or symposium such as honorarium, travel expenses, lodging and meals for speakers. Funding decisions will be based in part on the following criteria:

  • Will the seminar, symposium, or forum be of interest to and open to the university at-large?
  • Have matching or supplementary funds been committed from other sources?
  • What long-term scholarly benefits are expected from the sponsored event?
