Vendor Self-Service Solution
A new web-based on-boarding application will soon be available for new vendor registration. The University has contracted with PaymentWorks, Inc. to provide a customized platform for vendors to register to do business with the University. The new cloud-based platform will replace the current paper-based University Vendor Application process. The transition to PaymentWorks as the University’s vendor onboarding solution is planned for ~ August 14.

Time Entry
When reporting hours, employees should round to the nearest 1/4 hour. For example: 15 minutes = 0.25 hours, 30 minutes = 0.50 hours and 45 minutes = 0.75 hours. Rounding should be used if the time in/out does not fall on the quarter hour. Time worked of 7 minutes or less should be rounded down and time worked of 8 minutes or more should be rounded up to the next quarter hour.

For example, if the arrival/departure time is 10:07 a.m., the employee would round the start time back to 10:00 a.m. If arrival/departure time is 12:23 p.m., the employee would round to 12:30 p.m.
MVR (Motor Vehicle Record)
The University of Kentucky is asking all faculty, staff, and, in some very limited cases, students who drive any motor vehicle on behalf of the University to complete a MVR Release and Information form. If you haven't already done so, please take the time to fill out the form and send it in to Risk Management.

International Travel Registry
In order to ensure coverage under UK's international travel medical insurance and evacuation plan, all faculty and staff traveling outside the United States in the course and scope of UK employment or representation should register their international travel with the UK International Center. The travel registry allows UK officials to quickly and proactively reach out to you in the event of an emergency overseas, and helps to facilitate the authorization process for claims made in your name to the insurance company. Please visit  international.uky.edu/IHSS/RegistryFaculty in order to register.
GSAS Tuition Rates
The Graduate School has released the Graduate School Tuition Scholarship rates for FY 18-19. These rates reflect the scholarship amounts for the GSAS forms. Tuition scholarships include the standard tuition; they do not include Johnson Center fees and health fees; nor do they include student specific fees, such as lab fees, course fees, program fees, music fees, distance learning course fees, or tuition charges above and beyond the standard graduate rate. These additional fees are the responsibility of the student and will appear on their billing statement.
