Payroll Lock-down
A payroll lock-down will occur during the November payroll cycle. Once payroll has locked down, no further CDEM entries can be made prior to 10/1/2022 for monthly employees and 09/24/2022 for biweekly employees.
 
Any effort remaining on the clearing account for the lock-down periods will require the department to submit a Z4 journal to move effort to an appropriate account.

Two options are available.

AirWatch has been replaced by Intune. Please follow the instructions in the attached Intune enrollment procedure PDF to update your device. There are two options: 
  1. Microsoft Outlook App (recommended)
  2. iOS Mail

FAST Program Compliance Information
We are writing with a reminder to encourage your teams to check in with mandatory participants enrolled in the FAST program. Requirements for mandatory participation in the FAST program can be found on our website.
 
We are less than 60 days from our next compliance deadline for the FAST program on December 31, 2022. By this deadline, participants should complete at least two additional FAST courses.

Please help us by: 
 
  • Encouraging enrollment: submitting enrollment requests and removal requests as necessary
  • Reminding supervisors that it is their responsibility to confirm compliance and put corrective action in place for those that have not complied
  • Prompting those enrolled in your area to complete their training by December 31, 2022

To check your employee’s progress toward completion, log in to myUK and access myUK Learning through the myUK Employee Self Service tab. Then follow the steps below: /

  • Select the Learning tile
  • Select “My Team” at the top 
  • Your direct reports will populate on the left 
  • An exclamation icon below a name indicates incomplete or past due activities 
  • Select a direct report’s name to view their assigned training

Holiday Schedule
The University of Kentucky observes the following holidays, except where continuous service is essential, in accordance with UK Human Resources Policies and Procedures #83.0 – Holiday Leave. In order to qualify for university holiday leave, including Christmas and New Year’s Day, an employee must be in a paid status the scheduled days before and the day after the holiday. Please refer to HRP&P #83.0 for detailed information regarding holiday leave.
