Just for Fun
A woman was ready for the hurricane to threaten their home, but her husband was not.
When the wind reached a screaming pitch with trees snapping, the horizontal rain streaming, and roof tiles flying, her husband was rooted in his spot.
He stared and stared through the wind-resistant window. Immovable, with his nose pressed to the windowpane, the stark fear in his eyes will stay with her forever.
Fortunately, as the eye of the storm arrived and the winds temporarily lessened, she felt personally safe enough to open the door and let him in.
