CARES Act Grant UPDATE

The CARES Act Small Business and Non-Profit Grant Application deadline has been extended until December 2nd. Additionally, we have made changes to the eligibility criteria to help more businesses. Changes include:
  • Business Revenue increase from $1.5M to $2M
  • Prior funding from PPP, EIDL, and FL State Bridge Loan increased from $15K to $100K
We are encouraging applicants to review the application process, and what to do BEFORE they apply. Please visit the website to read all the eligibility criteria and instructions. Free Technical Assistance is also available and can be scheduled on the website.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you previously applied and were deemed ineligible, but you are now eligible due to the eligibility criteria changes, you can reapply - a new Access Broward Account using a new email address will be required.
How to Participate in the Giveaway
The Supporter of Broward Campaign is giving away $10,000 in gift cards to our community to spend in their favorite local businesses, restaurants, museums, and other cultural organizations! 
 
The purpose is to help safely restart our local Broward County economy.  
 
Participating is easy. Click on the Supporter of Broward flyer to be redirected to the giveaway's Facebook Post, and follow these simple instructions (please use the image above as reference):
  1. Like the contest's post (as seen above next to the red number 1).
  2. if you are a business owner, then Tag your business. If you are a consumer, then Tag the business/organization that you will like to receive a gift card to! (This can be done by clicking the "comment" button next to the red number 2 above, and writing the name of your favorite business or organization, beginning with the "@" symbol. This is the business that the winners' will receive a gift card from, or to the organization to whom we will donate.) 
  3. Share the post on your Facebook account. (This can be done by clicking "share" next to the red number 3).

Business Owners - Remember to tell all your followers to do the same and tag your business/organization! In return, your followers have the opportunity to win a $25 gift card from your business. 
 
Every week, the contest will randomly choose up to 100 winners, who will have the opportunity to receive a $25 gift card to your establishment!
