Small and Medium Enterprise Relaunch Grant opens today
Eligible small- and medium-sized businesses, co-ops and non-profits can apply for funding so they can open their doors and get Albertans back to wo rk.
·         News Release
·         Eligible job creators can apply for up to $5,000 through this program
·        Must have 500 or fewer employees
·         Full program details can be found in the program guidelines
·         To manage the expected volume of applications, during the first week of application intake ( June 29 to July 3 ), a specific application day has been designated for specific regions of the province. *The date for our region is June 30 .
Application forms will be available when application intake opens at 10 a.m. on Monday, June 29 at the online application portal through the program webpage at www.alberta.ca/sme-relaunch-grant.aspx .  


Expanding access to COVID-19 testing

Prime Minister announces support for students serving their communities and opportunities to gain paid work experience
The Canada Student Service Grant (CSSG) will support post-secondary students and recent graduates as they volunteer to serve in their communities’ COVID-19 response and gain valuable experience at the same time. The CSSG will provide these volunteers with a one-time payment of between $1,000 and $5,000 based on the number of hours they serve.

The Chamber Annual General Meeting has been rescheduled for Wednesday, July 15 at 7:00pm. The meeting will be held virtually via Zoom.

If you had changed your hours of operation or business status on Google, Facebook, TripAdvisor or any other online platforms, make sure that information is correct. For example, some businesses have corrected their hours on their Facebook page but have forgotten to remove the 'Temporarily Closed' status.
