The Baldwin County Chamber Coalition is working together to compile current business operations and needs post Hurricane Sally.

If you are a business operating in Baldwin County we ask that you take a few minutes and complete this survey so that your Baldwin County Chambers can adequately assist you and your business during this time.

SBA Offers Disaster Assistance
SBA disaster loans are an important part of the disaster recovery process because they provide eligible businesses, non-profits, homeowners, and renters with access to the funds they need to rebuild, particularly when damages are not covered by insurance or other forms of assistance.

Disaster Recovery Assistance and Guides for Business
When a disaster occurs, businesses must take care of their employees’ needs, communicate the impact, address financial matters (e.g., insurance, disaster assistance), restore operations, and organize recovery. The US Chamber of Commerce Foundation has provided resources to help reopen your business and make progress through long-term recovery. Please see the links below for more information.

Baldwin County Emergency Management App
The Baldwin County EMA App is now available free for users who can download at Apple iPhone and Android Smartphone. The EMA App contains current weather and radar information, road conditions, and the ability to select your hurricane evacuation zone to receive push notifications in the event your zone is evacuated. There is also preparedness information that you may find useful if a disaster occurs in or around your home or business.

The app can also be used during this time following Hurricane Sally to submit damage reports, photos of damage and more to Baldwin County.

Hurricane Sally Disaster Relief Fund
United Way of Baldwin County has established a Hurricane Sally Disaster Relief Fund to aid storm victims in Baldwin County.

Donations will go to support immediate response, long-term recovery, and fulfilling unmet needs of Baldwin County residents affected by the storm. One hundred percent of donations go directly towards these efforts. The United Way of Baldwin County is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and donations may be tax deductible as applicable by law.

FEMA Disaster Assistance
FEMA has issued a disaster declaration for Baldwin, Escambia, and Mobile counties as well as the Porch Band of Creek Indians.

To file a claim for assistance, you must first register with FEMA in one of the following ways (Individuals and Businesses can register for FEMA Assistance):

1. Call 1-800-621-3362 (TTY# 1-800-462-7585)
2. Register online at www.disasterassistance.gov
3. Download the FEMA app on your mobile device and register using the app.
