Business Students Travel to College Station to Attend Career Fair   
Trip sponsored by the Office of Career Services  

The Office of Career Services hosted a trip for business students to attend the Texas A&M Mays Business School Career Fair.  Twenty-two students took advantage of the free transportation to College Station to visit with potential employers on Tuesday, February 7.   Students were able to visit with company recruiters and learn more about the A&M System.

Accounting Society members attend "Power Your Future" event
 
The Institute of Management Accountants at University of Texas Rio Grande Valley conducted the "RGV Student Business Leadership & Networking Conference" on February 3 at University Center in Harlingen. The one-day event provided students with a unique opportunity to participate in a wide range of exceptional sessions packed with the information they need to jump start their careers and grow professionally.

They also spent invaluable time with peers, educators, employers, and accounting/finance professionals. College of Business Administration Accounting Society members took advantage of this great opportunity to connect with accountants and financial professionals.


Dr. Delcoure
Business Dean Elected To Board Of Prestigious Accrediting Body
Dr. Delcoure will take office on July 1, 2017   
 
Dr. Natalya Delcoure, dean of the College of Business Administration at Texas A&M University-Kingsville, has been elected to a three-year term on the Board of Directors of the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). Delcoure was elected to the position representing a non-accredited institution from the United States. The university is currently in the process of gaining accreditation from the AACSB.
 
"To be considered by the AACSB Nominating Committee to serve on the AACSB Board of Directors is quite an honor. To be elected to the Board of Directors is an outstanding achievement, particularly in light of the remarkably competent nominees selected by the AACSB Nominating Committee," Delcoure said.
