The Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act includes $10 billion in funds to be awarded as economic relief to eligible U.S. airports affected by the prevention of, preparation for, and response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Of that amount, $7.2 million dollars has been allocated to Bishop Airport.
Certain businesses that have experienced disrupted operations due to the COVID-19 pandemic now have even more time to make monthly or quarterly sales, use and withholding tax payments, according to the Michigan Department of Treasury.
