Rocking the Cove
 
Families are invited to dance the night away to classic rock and pop at
Heron Way Reserve, Hallett Cove on Saturday, 24 November.
 
Concert at the Cove includes four hours of live entertainment, including bands, come and try dance and open mic. Concert-goers can buy food from more than 20 Fork on the Road food trucks or bring a picnic and relax on the grass.

Election Candidates

33 candidates will contest 13 seats in the City of Marion at the November local government elections.
 
Four candidates have nominated for Mayor, while 29 have nominated for 12 seats across six wards.
 
Ballot papers and information on candidates will be posted to registered voters in late October.
 
Postal ballots must be received by 5pm, Friday 9 November. Ballots can be returned in person to City of Marion Administration Centre, 245 Sturt Rd, Sturt by the same deadline.

IP Rights in a Digital World - Don't get caught out!

In an increasingly competitive environment where more and more service delivery is digital, you need to know how to maximise the value of your own assets as well as how to make the best use of resources.
 
This workshop will help you to recognise and avoid the potential IP pitfalls and build an IP strategy that will support your business' growth by explaining the importance of matching a IP and social media identifiers. Discuss why it's important to register your trade mark early and register your IP overseas. Followed by undertaking an IP audit of your business in with session exercises and examples.

The Southern Business Connections - Business Expo will be held at Tonsley TAFE from 2pm to 7pm on Thursday, 25 October. This expo will showcase companies in Southern Adelaide, connecting members, contacts, businesses and knowledge all under one roof.
 
Attendees will get to know what is in their area and what products and services are available, meet the small and medium business owners and be inspired. It will be a fun filled day.
