The City is excited to announce that on March 1st, EDCO will launch its Residential Organics Recycling Program in Solana Beach. You no longer have to throw food, bones, or dirty pizza boxes into the trash. Throw them into your green bin instead. You should have received the informational brochure in your mail from EDCO that explains the program in detail, but just in case you haven’t, CLICK HERE for reference.

And remember, if you think you might need more space in your green waste bins, you can order additional cans from EDCO free of charge.

International Smoke, chef Michael Mina and Ayesha Curry’s 20-month-old global cuisine restaurant in the Del Mar area, reopened for patio dining — with a twist.

From March of last year through July, the restaurant in the One Paseo shopping center was closed, but its kitchen stayed busy, serving several “ghost kitchen” menus for delivery only via DoorDash, UberEats and GrubHub.

Because of the popularity of the delivery menus for Tokyo Hot Chicken and newly launched Bourbon Burger Bar, many of these items have been added to the restaurant’s revamped patio lunch menu served 1130-230 daily.

The regular menu is being served in the evenings with reservations being available from 5pm-830pm nightly.

San Diego Botanic Garden, in partnership with Oceanside Museum of Art Artist Alliance, presents the Wild and Beautiful sculpture exhibition. SDBG has developed a longstanding tradition of exhibiting sculptures within their lush 37-acre urban oasis that, in keeping with the times, continues on a moderated scale for 2021.

Inspired by nature, the featured artworks were selected from submissions demonstrating a broad spectrum of materials, styles, and creative interpretations. All of the original sculptures in the collection were created by members of OMA Artist Alliance and selected for the exhibition by juror Kay Colvin. Mindful consideration was given to pairing each unique work of art with an environment that enhances its aesthetic character, while the artwork in turn complements the beauty of its botanic setting.
