As the Coronavirus continues to negatively impact the nation, our focus remains on the health and safety of our employees, our dealerships, and the public at large. On March 23rd the state of Massachusetts issued at "Stay-At-Home Advisory" for all nonessential businesses in an effort to help win our battle with the Coronavirus.

At our Bourne program, located at 254 Shore Road, we are very proud to still be serving our community during this critical time. We are now approved as an Emergency Child Care Program. We are here to serve vulnerable children and the children of families who are required to work to maintain the health, safety and welfare of all Commonwealth citizens. This Emergency Child Care is being funded by EEC. This program is operating as drop-in care with current hours, Monday-Friday from 6:30am-6:00pm. Please read the guidelines below and if you or someone you know is still in need of child care, please reach out to Meghan Muratore at (508) 759-6620 or  directorbourne@crayoncollege.us.
“Do not contact an emergency child care program unless you require emergency, back-up, drop-in care. Priority must be given to people including but are not limited to health care workers, essential state and human service workers, COVID-19 health workers, grocery store employees, emergency response personnel, law enforcement, transportation and infrastructure workers, sanitation workers, DCF-involved families, and families living in shelters. To slow the spread of the coronavirus, all families should keep children out of group care settings to the greatest extent possible. Emergency Child Care Programs are for when all other non-group-care settings have been exhausted and families have no other options.”
Our adjusted hours are currently:

Phishing attacks linked to the Coronavirus are on the rise. Cyber-criminals are using this opportunity to gain access to company and personal information. Virus related Phishing Emails dripping with malware are already a significant problem, and will only get worse.

You and your company do not have to be a victim of this new malware threat!

Knowledge is power, so please feel free to share this information with your employees and families. Cyber-criminals use fear, a desire for new information, or distraction as their weapons of choice. So, sending an email from what seems like a reputable source with a link to learn about a “new prevention”, or a “new source” for masks, antiseptic cleaners, or toilet paper will easily trap a distracted or trusting person into clicking on the link. Some emails are even targeting the most vulnerable or frightened individuals with emails that appear to come from a government agency with a link to “get your stimulus check now”. These are just a few of the emails that are in your inbox now or will be there very soon.

Don’t let a moment of fear, curiosity, inattention, or misplaced trust will lead to the introduction of malware in your mission-critical IT infrastructure.

Here are some simple tips we suggest to protect your business, your employees, and all our families:
  •  Do not click on a link embedded in an email even if appears to be from a legitimate site, a person you know, a friend, or family member. Assume that all of these are phishing or breach attempts.
  • Don’t open attachments, unless you are expecting them from a known source. Be especially wary of Zip files and .exe files
  • Guard your financial statements – never reply to any email request for any personal of business financial information
  • View COVID-19 information EXCLUSIVELY from reputable web sites. Go to Google and search for them by the name of the organization, e.g. Centers For Disease Control, Internal Revenue Service, your State’s .gov site, your State’s State Department of Labor.
  • Avoid using a link you are sent as This includes emails sent to you by trusted sources including friends and family.
  • Never reply to a site that requests either personal financial information (e.g. your Social Security number, bank account, or credit card number) or payment that appears to be from a State or Federal Agency. The Federal and State Agencies will NEVER request information or payments for any reason via email.

We also want you to know that if you have questions, concerns or an active viral breach, we can help !

If someone on your team inadvertently clicks on suspicious or questionable link; please contact us, so our team can take the right steps to fix the problem. This is not a time to be embarrassed and not say something.

An ounce of prevention can be worth a pound of cure. If you are not already leveraging advanced security tools, we encourage you to contact us so we can evaluate your current environment, and ensure that you are using your cyber defense systems to their best advantage.

We hope that this information helps keep you, your business, and your team safe from the predators who roam the Internet.
