Members really do matter.
Each month we host " Members Matter," a Zoom call that gives us an opportunity to meet with current, new and prospective members for an orientation of the Wheaton Chamber. We share about the structure of the Chamber and, most importantly, demonstrate how you as a member can build your business profile, post your news and share through social media. Your content is important to us because you ARE the Chamber! [Photo: #MugShot from Jeff Reiter of Cantigny Park & Cantigny Golf, Ambassador and prolific Wheaton Chamber website poster]

The Young Professionals Network Continues to Grow
|
|
Our Young Professionals Network (YPN) continues to grow, and the group was captured smiling into the sun on Arrowhead's beautiful back deck on October 12. With them were guests Erica Bray-Parker, City of Wheaton Councilwoman at Large, and Melissa Nachman from the League of Women Voters, who checked in to remind everyone how important it is to be registered to vote--and to vote. Special thanks to TJ Luby of Merrill Lynch for leading this great group of young professionals who are, after all, the future of the Wheaton Chamber.

Aronberg Goldgehn invites us to remember that it's "National Estate Planning Awareness Week." According to the experts, if the preparation of estate planning has fallen towards the bottom of your to-do list, you are far from alone. The National Association of Estate Planners and Councils estimates that only 33% of Americans have estate plans in place. This year National Estate Planning Awareness Week takes place from today through Sunday, October 23. Although it may seem like a daunting task, an experienced estate planning attorney can guide individuals through the process and help to ensure that they have control over their assets and major life decisions.
