Thank you to Maine's lending community for your partnership in 2023!

In addition to the $130 million in financing provided under FAME's lending programs, FAME supported $24 million in partner originated loans and investments under Grow Maine and issued $86 million tax-exempt revenue obligation securities (bonds). In total, this represents nearly a quarter of a billion dollars in Maine business financing in fiscal year 2023.

Do you know about the Maine Seed Capital Tax Credit Program?

The Maine Seed Capital Tax Credit Program is designed to encourage equity investments in Maine businesses, directly and through private venture capital funds. FAME may authorize state income tax credits to investors for 40% of the cash equity provided to eligible Maine businesses. Investments may be used for fixed assets, research or working capital.

There is still $12 million of available tax credits for 2023!
