FAME Staff Spotlight

Emily Babineau, Business Programs Manager

Emily Babineau joined FAME’s business team in June 2024 as the Business Programs Manager. Starting in banking right out of high school, Emily is excited to use her financial and banking expertise to help Maine people. “FAME, by design, creates opportunities. After having worked in collections for over 20 years, it was time to surround myself with positivity and opportunity. I am excited to be a part of what FAME does for Maine.”

When not at work, Emily fills her free time with family and food. She is happiest when making things that make people happy – food! When not cooking for her family, she is baking for her small business, Secret Spoon Bakery, which was an idea born from an assignment for a business class. Additionally, she enjoys knitting, crocheting, quilting and crafting in general.

Emily lives in Gorham with her husband Kevin, their three amazing sons, and dog Gimli Olivander. As huge Harry Potter fans, Emily and her family try to visit Universal Studio at least once a year. With a trip to Ireland planned for this fall, she plans to visit film locations from the movies and are already planning their next trip to London to see the studio exhibits.
