As we enter into this new year, 2019, I would like to extend my best wishes to our members and the Dufferin business community for a prosperous and successful new year.
2019 is an important year for the Dufferin Board of Trade as it marks our 110 year anniversary. Though much has changed over the past 110 years, our commitment to serving the business community in Dufferin remains the same.
DBOT continues to strive for a more prosperous and innovative Dufferin and will continue to spearhead and support
initiatives
to that end.

Dufferin Board of Trade Celebrates 110 Years
|
|
110 years ago, in Orangeville's council chambers, local businesses formed an organization to improve local conditions for the benefit of the business community. For the next 110 years, this organization would represent the interests of local business, influence positive change, and help the community to grow and expand into the prosperous and successful business community it is today.
Throughout the multitude of challenges of the 20th century, the Board of Trade remained as a strong voice for business, and the greatest force supporting businesses in the region. The Dufferin Board of Trade continues to provide businesses with the support they need and represents their interests as a trusted, reliable, and experienced advocate.
Throughout 2019 the Dufferin Board of Trade will be celebrating its history and accomplishments over the last 110 years. Many local businesses, and influential business-people have helped to shape the organization that exists today and DBOT will recognize and celebrate this storied past as the year progresses.
