ATTENTION MONTEZUMA COUNTY BUSINESSES!
The Montezuma County Board of County Commissioners has agreed to use a portion of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act funds received this week to help local businesses and non-profit organizations offset business disruptions caused by the COVID-19 virus. All eligible local businesses and non-profits can apply for grant funding from $500 up to $10,000.
First round applications are due by October 15th and second round applications by November 30th. All funds will be distributed by December 31. Additional information and the grant application can be obtained from the county website. (www.montezumacounty.org)

Dolores
Dolores has announced their "Dolores Cares Coronavirus Relief Program" to help local businesses and non-profit organizations that have experienced business disruption due to COVID-19. Up to $500 is available to all eligible Dolores businesses with receipts, with additional information required to request up to a total of $5,000.

This can be used for expenses already incurred or for future expenses planned for the remainder of this year.

Bonus: Each Dolores business that receives funding through this program will also receive a one-year membership to the Dolores Chamber of Commerce! So turn in your receipts for hand sanitizer, plexiglass, PPE's and more and get your Chamber Membership for 2021!

Mancos Inn is seeking a live in Innkeeper. Must have good customer service, attention to detail, good cleaning experience. This is not a paid position but rather a live/work trade. Single or couple. Handy person a big plus! No smokers - no pets - no exceptions. Potential for pay as things get busier in the spring. Our winter months are rather slow.

The grant cycle for Onward! opened on September 1 and close October 16 at 5 PM. Grant documents and information will be available online at our website. Questions may be directed to nicci@onwardfoundation.org. Short-term (maximum 1 year) grants ranging from $500 to $3000 will be disbursed this cycle. To be eligible to apply for a grant, an organization must meet the following criteria;
  1. Be a not-for-profit project or organization located in and providing services to Montezuma, Dolores, La Plata, Archuleta or San Juan County, Colorado.
  2. Have 501(c) (3) status.
  3. Have an organizational structure that demonstrates professionalism and accountability i.e.aboard of directors or similar structure with some kind ofgovernance.
  4. Have well defined goals and a method for evaluating success for the grant activity proposed.
 
Four additional fund partners will participate in this grant cycle through Onward! to raise the level of giving to grant awardees.
