MARCH 2024 | FFGC - DISTRICT I, INC

Meet Lynda Penry

our new

Assistant District I Director

Hello, everyone. Jenny asked me to introduce myself as the Assistant District Director. I have been a member of the Garnier Beach Garden Club for about 20 years and have served as President, First Vice President and Treasurer. I served on a state committee as the editor of theBook of Information (before it was put on-line).

As you may know Garnier Beach Garden Club is hosting the district meeting in May. Our two-year theme for the garden club is “Go Green.” So, you will see evidence of this theme demonstrated at the meeting in all sorts of ways.

Just a reminder: please enter the convention flower show and members only art show. The only way these shows will be successful is if we have an abundance of entries. Remember, District I is sponsoring the convention this year and as usual, District I excels in all we do.
