Busy Weekend of Shows Ahead

Greetings! Thanks to everyone who joined us in Panama City Beach, FL, a few weeks back for Parrot Head Rendezvous. What a fantastic event! Our time there was way too brief, but it was great seeing so many of our friends from far and near at Sharky's Beachfront. Huge thanks go out to the Panama City Parrot Head Club for having us and also to the awesome musicians who joined us on stage! Jimmy Sr. hated to miss this great event, but we are happy to report that his eye surgery went very well and he has recovered nicely.

This weekend, we are gearing up for four shows in four days...so batten down the hatches! On Thursday, we are heading to Wilmington, DE, for Wilmington Flower Market. It's been more than 15 years since the band played at this event, and we can't wait to take that fun stage once again! On Friday, we will be helping a friend celebrate a milestone birthday in Bordentown, NJ...happy birthday, Josh! On Saturday, the band will be in Middletown, PA, for the annual Loving Care Cat Rescue fundraiser "Rock Out for Rescue" at The Vineyard at Hershey; this one is always a terrific party with a purpose. Then, on Mother's Day, the JATP Trio will be at Hardball Cider in Mount Bethel, PA, for "Pints and Parrots with Mom." Mother's Day at HBC has become a JATP tradition, and we hope to see lots of friends there! In fact, details for all the open to the public shows are below; we hope many of you will join us as we travel around the tristate area this weekend.

REMEMBERING A SPECIAL FRIEND

While the band may be busy with our East Coast shows, our thoughts and hearts will also be in California for a very special Celebration of Life for our wonderful friend Carol who sadly passed away earlier this year. While we cannot be with Jim, Kit, and the rest of Carol's family and friends as they gather this weekend, we will be raising our glasses at the appointed hour as we remember with great fondness a very special friend who brought sunshine and joy to so many lives, events and occasions.
