Tim is back from a wonderful and impactful trip—Praise the Lord!


Before the trip began, Tim tweaked his back and came down with a bad cold, which made the days leading up to departure frustrating and difficult. But God miraculously healed his back once Tim got on the airplane! We had prepared equipment to launch 30 new Mandarin Bible Schools, but when Tim arrived, we discovered that several key leaders had been held up by their government and couldn’t travel. Instead of 30 leaders, only 22 were able to attend the training. Two nations we had planned to begin Bible Schools in weren’t able to send their representatives at all.

But God!


Even with these unexpected challenges, the trip turned out to be far more fruitful than anything we had imagined. Among the 22 Mandarin-speaking leaders were missionaries serving in South Africa, Thailand, and Belarus—all nations with strong Mandarin-speaking communities that urgently need discipleship materials.

Even more incredible, one of the attendees was Pastor Paul, who oversees a network of 30,000 persecuted house churches. By the end of the training, he was so impressed and excited with the training materials that he committed to launching 50 Mandarin Bible Schools—far beyond the 30 we originally planned. And there are additional developments we are working on that we’ll be sharing soon.


The bottom line: We planned to start 30 Mandarin Bible Schools… but God opened the door for 50. And He expanded our reach into nations we weren’t even targeting —Belarus and South Africa. Praise God for His faithfulness! We can’t wait to share the testimonies that will come as these schools begin.

Our heart is to keep pouring into leaders around the world—without having to pull back because of finances. We’re currently about $800 a month shy of being fully funded. FAMILY UPDATE

Luke finished his mile race in 8 minutes and 58 seconds. Pretty good for a seven-year-old. 

Luke and Joy can hardly wait for Christmas! Joy has already asked to start decorating—no less than six times! 
(As I'm sending this Dec. 12th we have decorated for Christmas)
