Dog of the Month:
Meet Bingo, an adorable pup who can't wait to go home with you!
Meet Bingo
B I N G O! We here on the adoptions team cannot help but smile when we are with Bingo! He is an active Shepherd mix who will thrive in a home who has time to play & go for summer adventures! He doesn't quite comprehend his size and will lean into you for a cuddle and some affection.

Incredibly playful and toy motivated, we know that Bingo will make someone extremely happy. Please consider giving the big guy with a big heart a chance, we promise with a little commitment and a lot of love you'll be happy you gave Bingo a chance at a new life. Children over the age of 16 and a pet-free home are an ideal fit for Bingo.

Adoption Success Story: Princess
Princess is doing great after she found her forever home with Yessica. She’s gotten used to an insulin and feeding schedule and is well behaved.

She loves playing with squeaky toys and she has a lot of them to choose from so she’s very happy about that. The two cats Yessica has at home are still very curious about her but mostly they just peacefully coexist in the home.

Princess loves driving in the car and to take out her toys into the backyard when she’s hinting that she wants to play!

Volunteer Spotlight: Julia
By Kelly Laprezioso
Julia first started volunteering with BHS through CAVE in the Spring Semester of 2022.

She quickly became involved in many areas of our organization. Her enthusiasm for animal welfare and our organization is easy to recognize, and has been an incredible addition to our volunteer team. Her main areas of volunteerism are with our dogs, special events, and recently, as a greeter.
