Earlier this year we asked you to oppose a bill that would change existing state law originally passed in 1970 that protects alligators and crocodiles.
With your help we were able to defeat AB 527 (Voepel), but now the industry has successfully reintroduced a "gut and amend" bill.
The new bill is
AB 719
(Rubio), has been granted a hearing this Tuesday, July 9th.
AB 719 will be voted on this Tuesday at 9:30am in Senate Natural Resources and Water Committee.
