Two College Students Take Action

Madison and Emily are two college students who heard about Buyamba through a family friend. As they began to build their business , Twelve2co , they knew they wanted to be able to give back. After researching Buyamba, they fell in love with our mission and the impact we are having on Uganda and decided to partner with us.

Twelve:2 is "two Aggies" coming together in a creative way to glorify the name of God with the mission to serve the people of Uganda."

Twelve:2 is based on Romans 12:2 which reads, " Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is-his good, pleasing and perfect will."

Madison and Emily are donating 20% of their sales directly to Buyamba in an effort to raise funds and awareness in their community. They are offering headbands and decals here: Twelve:2

Thank you Twelve:2 for being an example to us all of how we can make a difference with our skills, time, talents and dedication.

Thank you Calvary Community High School Team!

We are so grateful for the Calvary Community High School team from Westlake, CA, who took a short term mission trip to Uganda during Easter break this year instead of taking time off to do other things. The team was very successful on the ground at God Cares Schools and dove right in to help in any way they could find to serve.

The team, led by Pastor Brian Howard, loved on all of the kids and were able to lead chapels with the Primary School and the High School. They also visited some student homes, and did some gardening at the Dongo farm. They really had an impact on the school community and the Dongo family, administration, staff and students  were all so blessed by their visit!
Sponsor A Child

Phionah is 16 years old, and she just started high school. Since the high school is so far away from her home, we are searching for a sponsor to cover her boarding fees.

Your gift of $35 a month will allow Phionah to live at God Cares School.

April Newsletter

Last month we highlighted a lot of common sponsorship questions. One or more of the questions might be on your mind. Also, Ezra Dongo offers a quick update on The Assembly Hall.

Our Mission
Our mission is to offer love, hope and a future through education and discipleship ... one child at a time.

Prayer Points
- Praise God, Glory and Katherine Dongo had their first baby girl, Pendo Isabella Dongo.

- Join us in praying for all sponsors and donors who continue to give even when they're going through financial difficulties.
Assembly Hall

We're now working on plastering, flooring, and painting. Teams visiting Uganda this summer will be involved in this project.

Thanks to all who gave in the month of April, your gifts went a long way! We are striving together to get The Bethuel Dongo Assembly Hall finished in 2017!
