Florence Dongo has often been called the "Mother of Uganda" because she has loved and cared for so many children. Florence has just spent the past two months traveling for the ministry, sharing updates, praise reports, and prayer requests. With each place she visits, she is sure to have her children with her (in the form of pictures, of course) so that people might sponsor these children to go to school which gives them hope for the future.

Florence has been called the mother of Uganda, and the pictures she carries around are so much more to her than what we see. She knows the children, their situation, their smiles, and even their cries. She often shares the story of how hard it was to raise the many children who would come to her home. They would often resist her love since they did not know the love of a mother or father, and when Florence got upset about this struggle, she would go to her room and pray, "Father, please give me YOUR love for these children." Her prayers were always answered, for she loves each of them unconditionally with a love that only God can give.

Give a gift in honor of a mother in your life. You can show love to a child in need by sending them to school or giving a donation of any amount that will be used towards our mission of offering love, hope, and a future through education and discipleship...one child at a time.
Please continue to pray for Florence as she continues her trip through Texas. We are beyond grateful to report the success of Florence's trip thus far!
Thank you to ALL who have met with her, prayed for her, loved her, gave her shelter, and welcomed her to your church. THANK YOU!
Summertime at God Cares means Bible Camp!

Every year, God Cares Primary School students and children from the community are welcomed into a week-long Bible Camp led by our staff in Uganda and a team from Cross Timbers Church of Argyle, Texas. Children will dive deep into Bible lessons through games, music, arts and crafts, and discipleship time.

A gift of $40 covers the cost of one child at camp. This includes a place to sleep, three meals a day, and everything else that child would need to get the full camp experience. Last year, hundreds of children accepted Jesus as their Savior, and many of these commitments happened at bible camp. Join us as we begin to pray for the children that will attend the camp this year, and pray that even more would accept Jesus.
Shadiah is 7 years old and is always smiling! Her mother and father take care of her and her two sisters but they cannot afford to send them to school. Your sponsorship will help Shadiah continue her education.
Looking for a way to get your kids involved with Buyamba?

We believe there's no such thing as "too young" when it comes to joining our efforts to impact Uganda. That's why we have created a program called Kid2Kid. Originally purposed for schools to get students involved with Buyamba, we have seen this program reach beyond schools into VBS programs and individual family homes. If you want to get involved in a group project, we have ideas!
In case you were unable to attend our Empowering Generations Banquet you can check out our April newsletter to read a recap of the night.
Support the CREATIVE GIVING efforts of our friends Ron and Christina Evans. They're gearing up to travel to Uganda to serve our primary students this summer and could use your help!
