Dear Friends,
As summer officially begins, I've been keeping busy in the district!

Last Tuesday, I was pleased to have Secretary Jake Day, from the Department of Housing and Community Development, visit the Glen Burnie Town Center. We walked along the trail and B & A Blvd, the County Executive Steuart Pittman, District 2 County Councilwoman Allison Pickard, and Delegate Mark Chang joined us.

During the visit, we discussed the potential for additional State Legacy grants to further enhance and revitalize Glen Burnie. We are excited about the possibilities that these grants could bring to our community and look forward to continuing our efforts to improve the Glen Burnie Town Center.
As the school year comes to a close, the Northern Anne Arundel County Chamber honored outstanding teachers at the 25th Annual Educational Excellence Awards.

I was proud to sponsor Linthicum Elementary and their awardee, 3rd Grade Teacher, Julie Zawislak. This is my 25th year to be a sponsor of this terrific event. I am proud to have been a part of this wonderful event, which recognizes the dedication and hard work of teachers who shape the future of our children. Congratulations to all the winners and thank you to everyone who makes this event possible year after year!
Yesterday, I attended the LifeSpan & Maryland Association of Adult Day Services (MAADS) regional meeting at Autumn Lake Healthcare at Crofton. I had the privilege of engaging with industry members and constituents to discuss the pressing needs of assisted living patients.

The insightful discussions centered around ways to enhance the quality of care and support for those in need.
