Kept hearing rumors of the amazing mushroom soup at
Cafe Reho, the newest eatery on the Boardwalk, located in the Henlopen (northern end of the boards). Am very happy to report the rumors are TRUE! Everything we've tried so far has been fabulous, from the Matcha Latte to the Avocado, Egg & Cheese on a Brioche bun to that delightful soup: Vegan Mushroom Veloute with a hint of white truffle oil and shiitake mushroom “bacon”. A number of the items are dairy free, vegan, or can be made vegan, but there's no sacrificing taste - Chef Nick has got you covered. Menu is ever expanding, and the view is sublime.
Zava Cafe is coming to the former Duck Donuts space on Wilmington Avenue. The new grab-n-go plans to offer beachgoers quick and healthy foods, as well as a number of coffee options (some of the beans will be roasted in-house). They'll be open 7 am to 4 pm, seven days a week, year-round. (Check out the fun counter and green wall pictured
in this article.)
The Greene Turtle on the Boardwalk will become Above The Dunes with a seafood focus and beach style atmosphere. The interior is totally redone, and they've kept the amazing ocean views. Check out the photos on their website.
Milton Fox Hole will now be offering brunch, with favorites from its predecessor, Suburban Farmhouse. Owner Kristen Latham said the Fox Hole, to be known as
Fox Hole Social, will now be offering service “from coffee to cocktails.”

Wouldn't it be fun if a restaurant opened here and all they served was International street food? Just sayin'. Was dining at
Cultured Pearl last evening, and they had a huge list of specials. Turns out they're trying different things to possibly add to their regular menu. Karla, former expediter/now server encouraged us to try the
Okonomiyaki which we loved! Turns out it's a popular street food in Osaka, Japan - a savory version of a Japanese pancake, made with shredded cabbage, scallions, and your choice of protein. Yummm. The Pearl resumes their
Monday Night Sushi Special on March 21.
