AAPEX 2024

AAPEX, standing for "Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo," is an annual international trade fair held at The Venetian Expo in Las Vegas, USA. It serves as a central platform for experts, business owners, and enthusiasts from the automotive industry, offering insights into the vibrant American automotive market.

SEMA Show is organized by the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA), the trade organization representing the $44.6 billion automotive aftermarket industry. In addition to organizing the premier automotive trade show in the world, SEMA offers members research, training, education, manufacturing support services, legislative advocacy, group-buying discounts, networking events and more.

AAPEX & SEMA 2024 will see John Jenkins (President & Owner), John Benskin (Sales(NJ/Penn), Jonathan Kolde (Sales (KY/Ohio), and Billy Shepardson (Tech Support) heading out to represent C.A.S. of New England.

Our team will be floating between AAPEX and SEMA, meeting with key personnel from TEXA and EZDS at AAPEX, and Autoland at SEMA.

Our CAS team will be visiting with multiple OEM's and attending NASTF meetings, while Billy from tech support will be attending some of the classes being offered so he is even better equipped to help you when you call in.

Below are floor map images for both events as well as the booth numbers for TEXA, EZDS, and Autoland.

We wish them a great trip and hope to see you out there!!

It's been a while! What's new at C.A.S.?

  • EZ-Remote!
  • We've added a button to our website's homepage where you can book an EZ-Remote session in moments.
  • The EZ-Remote program works with the G-Scan 3, Zenith 5, and Zenith 7.
  • EZ-Remote is a support option wherein you will connect with our in-house technician (through one of the above tools) for needed, but otherwise unavailable, programming.

EZ-Remote can scan a vehicle not covered by your current software, or if it's covered but you want to program it, EZ-Remote can perform remote programming.

  • Any car, any time! Click HERE to open our brochure and find out more.

  • We discovered an issue where customers outside the United States and Canada were trying to purchase Wi-tech and other subscriptions from our website.
  • Because we are unable to offer these services outside of North America, we made a change to our website that removes the ability to add our MOPAR TSP products to cart if the customer lives outside the United States or Canada

  • CAS has two new informational materials that we are arming our sales reps with as they expand our company and add to the CAS family.
  • One of these is a USB device which presents as a business card and contains two files including our product catalogue and a video about our company.
  • The other product is a video brochure with the same files in video product format.

If you'd like one of these informational materials for your records or to refer fellow shop owners as part of our Refer a Friend program, please contact Marketing and we'll get you sorted.

Backroom Monthly Special: Zenith-5! ~ $1,000 in savings!

Being in continuous operation for now almost 30 years, CAS has A LOT of NOS and previously used scan tools and accessories. Each month we will try to offer a 'Back Room' special on an item that we think offers a great value.

This months' 'Back Room Special' is a Zenth-5 scan tool. This Z5 was ordered by one of our CAS customers who after receipt decided they wanted to go with OEM factory tooling instead. So, the Z5 came back looking like new but we can't legally sell it as new.

This tool is as functional and useable as a brand-new one at only a fraction of the list price. And it comes with a full 1-year warranty and a 1-year software subscription!

Priced at $1,950.00 plus $25 shipping to anywhere in the USA, makes this a great deal on a great scan tool! Call CAS today to claim this one, it will go fast...877-263-4897.

Tech Tip - Autocorrect & Password Help

Billy often gets calls about problems with usernames, passwords, and how autofill fields work with our wi-tech purchasing on the website.

For security, some of our tools require 2-factor authentication and special gateways. Others make you change your password every 30 days, which can be hard to remember and may lead to frustrating password resets.

To avoid these issues, keep a notebook or sticky note with your current usernames and passwords on your computer or desk. For a more secure and mobile option, consider using an app or Notes in your cellphone.

This should include your login details and any subscription information.

For a wi-tech subscription purchase on our website, you'll need:

  1. The email you use for Tech Authority.
  2. The serial number of the interface device.

Autofill can sometimes enter the wrong email, so keeping an updated list of usernames and passwords helps avoid unnecessary password changes.
