Robby Gonzalez | Director of Student Programs

Bio:
I'm currently studying Psychology with a minor in
Business Foundations at the University of Texas at Austin. This year marks my senior year, and I'm looking forward to all the opportunities that C3 will provide me. Currently I am employed as a Corporal E-4 in the Texas State Guard, under a tuition reimbursement program which assists in paying for my tuition. This outfit is based out of Camp Mabry here in Austin. I have an enormous passion for music, I'm a classically trained guitarist and have been playing since about age 9. I'm also an avid outdoorsman, and thoroughly enjoy hiking, hunting, fishing, and kayaking. Feel free to contact me with questions about or opportunities for student engagement at Robby@C3Texas.org
Responsibilities:
- Oversee correspondence with the Collegiate Engagement Council (CEC)
- Design a CEC Webinar in December
- TXCELS liaison to course instructor, Dr. Jean DeWitt
- Oversee and create applications for our Student Semester Awards for our Engaging Texans statewide dinner
- Work in conjunction with the Director of Programs & Operations and the Executive Director as well as the Board of Directors and Advisory Council

Yael Palma | Director of Art Education

Bio:
I am currently in my final semester at Texas State University - San Marcos, majoring in Art History with a minor in Fashion Merchandising. I plan on using resources at Texas State along with past museum internships to excel at C3 as the new Director of Art Education. As the Director of Art Education, I will be curating art made by students in Texas to showcase at the Engaging Texans Statewide Awards Dinner for a silent auction. I look forward to finding hidden talent Texas has to offer, targeting students K-12 alongwith Studio Art Majors at Texas State University. Responsibilities:
- Curator for the Engaging Texans Statewide Dinner, silent auction.

Contacting one K-12 school district in each of our 5-regions via C3 Texas.

Brianna Collins | Director of Communications

Bio:
I'm a Texas Longhorn with an appetite for learning new things, experiencing the world around her, and communicating with all types of people. I have a wide range of experiences and passions in writing, performing, and new media. Currently president of Texas New Media, I also spend time as an intern at Get Page One working on search engine optimization and social strategy. I plan on graduating in May 2013 with a degree in Multimedia Journalism and a minor in Sociology.

- Responsible for the drafting and dissemination of all electronic, statewide, special messages
- Crafting and distribution of press releases
- Enhance C3 Texas' Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and other social media presence
- Interface directly with C3 Texas members' marketing departments
- Liaison to PR Consultant Phil West, principal of Orange Cone Media
- Promotion of our Board of Directors, statewide Collegiate Engagement Council, Advisory Council, and C3 Texas team as well as funders and members
- Marketing of our Engaging Texans statewide Awards Dinner
