Dear Animal Lovers, Advocates, Rescuers & Activists:

A few things - the March 10th demonstration for the pitbulls is MISSION CRITICAL for advocates/activists; Marineland is gearing up for another season  (as are advocates to witness and lend their voices -- opening day is May 21st), and I'd like to know if anyone's getting to work early on the Calgary Stampede....any community events / petitions / calls to action around these items, please be sure to share with our community ... email  ...

Heads up March 10th!

Meet Bentley, a four year old male Labrador Retriever. When Bentley first arrived at the shelter he was emaciated and terrified. Shelter staff have been slowly building his confidence and trust. Bentley has already shown major social improvement since intake. Bentley is a quick learner and food motivated.    Due to his lack of trust with new people, we do not feel that placing him into a home environment with children is a good idea. He will need time to adapt to his new surroundings with an owner that is patient and experienced. Bentley is sweet natured with a gentle demeanor. Bentley is showing signs of destructive behaviour with his toys and blankets when in his kennel. He has caused damage to his teeth and may require expensive dental surgery in the future.   He is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. We are currently accepting applications.  If you have any further questions about Bentley give us a call at 905-857-5208 or toll free 1-866-818-5493. You can also come in and meet Bentley our adoption hours. We are located at 12889 Coleraine Drive in Bolton, ON.  Contact person Stephanie Rose.
