Firefighters, engineers and public safety representatives joined labor, local government leaders in Sacramento Monday morning to urge voters to reject the attack on bridge and road safety. 
Election Day is two weeks from tomorrow and in these final weeks it is important to understand what is at stake for cities on Nov. 6. Voters will determine the fate of the four measures on which the League has a position. 
Cities’ local reasonable regulatory authority continues to be preempted by the modified proposed regulations the Bureau of Cannabis Control released on Oct. 19. The deadline to submit written comments to BCC is Nov. 5.
