July 2021
If you know someone who is in foster care or was in foster care (ages 14 to 26) in Arizona, they may be eligible to get money to help with education, housing and even re-entering care. Things they can get help with include:
  • Rent
  • Tutoring
  • Driver’s education
  • Childcare
  • Transportation
  • And more!

If they are eligible, they have a maximum award amount of $2,000. They can split the maximum award amount among multiple applications. For example, if they need help with rent that costs $1,000 and their car needs repair that costs $500, they can submit one application for rent assistance and a second application for auto repair.
There's still time to Save Their Summer! You have until July 31, 2021, to apply for a Save Their Summer award for your child. This one-time only award of up to $100 may be made for each child in your home. Board games? Water table? Arts and crafts? You name it, AFFCF will consider funding it. If you are a licenses or unlicensed caregiver or a CASA, click the button below to apply before July 31!

Amanda is one of 54 students in our scholarship program and this month AFFCF will consider an additional 22 scholarship applications. Without the scholarship, many youth would not have the means to pursue their educational dreams. You can support these young men and women by making a foster care tax credit donation to Arizona Friends of Foster Children Foundation. Even better, you can receive a dollar-for-dollar tax credit on your Arizona state taxes, up to $500 for individuals and up to $1,000 for couples. Please consider a donation today!
