CAA Insurance Rebate


Dear Licensees, 

 

As communicated in August, we renewed our strategic partnership with CAA Insurance, Canada’s 12th largest private auto carrier, who are executing an aggressive growth strategy to increase their PIF count in 2023 and beyond. 

 

Please recall that our new agreement included increased labour rates including new labour rate premiums for certified shops. Also, communicated in August, this agreement includes a market-driven rebate of 3%. For the short term, this rebate will be collected and paid at the store level. We are working in partnership with CAA on a central pay model which will transition the rebate collection/payment to corporate. Estimated timing around this is Q1 of 2024. 

 

CAA is nearly finished building the rebate model and once we receive the details your individual rebate calculations will be shared with you to process payments. We anticipate this will occur within the next 30 days. For this payment, the rebate will be payable for the 45-day period of August 15 – September 30th, and Q4 in its entirety. 

 

On a go-forward basis, CAA is committing to sharing the rebate calculations within 30 days of quarter end.
