MAAA President's Message
With seemingly increased COVID restrictions being implemented in many provinces, it is hard to see when life will be able to go back to normal. It can't come soon enough for me!

For many reasons, the MAAA has decided to cancel the spring meeting and hopefully be able to hold a 'traditional' in person meeting this fall. We are hopeful that COVID restrictions will have eased up by then.

Please check out our new revamped MAAA website. We’d like to thank Stephan and Marianne Gamache for all their work updating the website. To freshen things up, we also designed a new logo. All MAAA members will receive a promotional t-shirts with their membership renewal.

I would like to remind all members to browse the CAAA website, there is a wealth of great information for both operators and pilots. If there is any additional content you would like to see, contact the CAAA office.
Thank you for those who attended the CAAA virtual convention. I know it’s different to hold meetings this way, however we were still able to access valuable and informative sessions as well as accumulate the credits required for licensing.

As for the announced carbon tax implementation, MAAA and all provincial associations are collaborating with the CAAA to lobby on behalf of our associations.

Hopefully, the recent snowstorm will give us the much needed moisture for seeding and the upcoming season.
