The Southwestern Athletic Conference has named three lady hornets to their 2022 All-SWAC preseason teams. Ayana Emmanuel gets the first team nod while Shmya Ward and Jayla Crawford were tabbed All-SWAC second team. The all-conference honors and preseason poll was voted on by the league's head coaches and sports information directors.

ASU HALL OF FAME CLASS OF 2022

The Alabama State University Sports Hall of Fame, has not presented any candidates for induction since 2000, and will be reactivated in 2022, connecting our illustrious history with our promising future. 

The Hall of Fame induction ceremonies will take place at Friday night November 11, 2022 on the campus of Alabama State University at the Dunn-Oliver Acadome from 6 - 9pm.
