The CAC is seeking two bilingual Family Advocates/Case Managers. Critical members of our Mental Health team, our Family Advocates offer education, support, advocacy, and referrals for necessary services in order to help children and families heal after violence and abuse.

One of the Family Advocates will be an English/Spanish Family Advocate. The preferred languages for the second position are Haitian Creole, Chinese, Portuguese, and Cape Verdean Creole.

Give the Gift of Hope

For many people, the holiday season is one of hope. Here at the CAC, hope is a feeling we want the families who walk through our doors to experience year-round.

With your support today, you can give that gift of hope to children who have experienced abuse and sexual exploitation.

The holiday season is also one of giving. With your gift, we can provide expert, trauma-informed care to each of the nearly 2,000 children and families we expect to see in 2024.

A donation of any amount truly makes a difference.

Representatives of our Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) attended the Massachusetts Children's Alliance's CAC/MDT Summit in November. They spent the day learning together about building a resilient MDT, best practices in providing commercial sexual exploitation survivor-centered care, and investigation and prosecution processes for victims of sextortion and other image-based sexual abuse.

Our CAC was joined by our team members from the Department of Children & Families as well as the Boston and Chelsea Police Departments.

Staff Spotlight

En Ci (Lucas) Mong joined the CAC as our Community Outreach Coordinator in June. In his role, Lucas works with our Training Program Manager to develop partnerships with local agencies, spread awareness about the CAC's free services in new communities, and deliver prevention education trainings throughout Suffolk County. In just 6 months, he's already supported over 30 tabling events and trainings reaching hundreds of community members, caregivers and professionals.

Lucas is Trilingual (Chinese/Cantonese/English) and is excited to bring his passion for social justice to his role.

Community Connections

Last week, Marcia (right) and Paul (left center) of the FBI Boston Citizens Academy Alumni Association delivered dozens of books, crayons, and toys that the CAAA collected in a drive to support the CAC.

These items will ensure that the CAC's waiting room is child-friendly and welcoming for the families who come to our Center in the weeks and months ahead.
