CAC Front Door Additional Information

It’s been a couple of months since the new CAC front door was installed and there have been some lessons learned that we would like to share with you so that we don’t break this new door.

Opening the door when the building is closed, unlock with a key from the outside or turn the deadbolt from the inside and push gently on the doors to open it, do not force it. The doors will close very quickly after that so be ready to walk in and do not try to keep it open because this will cause issues with the door that might require the door to be reset.

Leaving the building thru the front door when the building is closed, it is your responsibility to make sure the front door is locked using a key. If you don’t have a key, leave through the back exit of the building.

Do not touch the buttons on the door (this is different from the original instructions). Only CAC staff is allowed to touch those buttons and reset the system if needed. If you encounter any issues with the door notify CAC staff or patrol after hours.
