Cinema's Own Ryan Perry Honored

Huntington Township Chamber of Commerce
held an event through its Young Professionals Committee, honoring winners of the Young Professionals Award. The Cinema Arts Centre’s Director of Operations, Ryan Perry, was one of thirty local leaders honored with this prestigious award.
The event, held at the beautiful Crest Hollow Country Club, was an evening of celebration, featuring drinks, a buffet dinner, and comedian Joe DeVito as the MC. It was a chance to honor civic engagement in all its forms. Business and government leaders came together with up-and-coming young professionals to celebrate the impact that these rising stars, honoring them for their achievements and the hard work they do to make our community thrive.
Ryan Perry has been with the Cinema for a long time, working as the Associate Director of Operations for several years. Most recently, he has taken over leadership of the Operations department, managing our front-of-house staff and overseeing all of our very special events. Ryan is also an accomplished filmmaker, directing film shorts and television episodes, using his skills at managing a sizable crew. We at the Cinema are proud to have him on our team, and glad to see his excellent leadership honored.
The Young Professionals Award is the Chamber of Commerce’s “30 Under 30” award, honoring thirty influential young professionals. The Chamber created the Young Professionals Committee for Chamber members between the ages of 21 and 40 from business, not-for-profit and government industries, so that young, influential people come together to share their experiences, utilize each other’s resources, generate business and build their careers. They hold regular business blenders in Huntington.
