August Highlight

Last month, the CAC hosted the Mongolian Multidisciplinary Task Force, The Asia Foundation, and World Vision Mongolia staff.

These organizations are working together to improve their capacity for child advocacy and protection work. As part of this project, they organized a knowledge exchange tour with National Children's Alliance to consider implementation of initiatives they learned about in the United States.

Community Connections

Throughout September and into October, the CAC and Suffolk County District Attorney's Office are training recruits at Boston Police Academy on best practices for first responders to child abuse. This is an important step to ensure the children these officers encounter in the future feel safe and supported and find their path to healing quickly.

What's Your Why?

Quote from Children's Librarian: "The topic is difficult to talk about, but you were able to engage everyone in a comfortable way. It was just the right balance of talk and dialogue. Thank you so much for creating a program that is informative, relevant, and empowering."
