We recently recognized and celebrated two important staff anniversaries! Tania Cordobes, Music Therapist has been with the Center for 20 years! Belinda Ressler, Director of Facility and Operations, has been with the Center for 10 years! We are very grateful for both of them and their dedication to the Center!

Please join us in welcoming our new Chief Financial Officer, Tim Boobar! Tim has worked in the accounting and finance field in different industries in the DFW area for more than 30 years and now leads the financial team for the advocacy center. We are excited to have Tim join our team!

Bobbie Pierri recently celebrated her 11th anniversary with us! Bobbie is critical to the development operations of the Center and we are grateful for her and her commitment to our mission!

Erica Stanley recently accepted a position as an adjunct professor for the School of Social Work at the University of Texas at Arlington. She will begin educating students this Fall in the field of child abuse.

Janeth is an adjunct professor at the University of Texas at Arlington. She will be teaching Clinical Assessment of Child Maltreatment in the Fall. Janeth also continues to be on staff with Children's Advocacy Centers of Texas, teaching Family Advocates across the state.

Lauren was recently asked to lead the Children's Advocacy Centers of Texas Regional Peer Review Program for Family Advocates. This program is designed to offer professionals who provide family advocacy services in a CAC setting with regular, ongoing opportunities to network with peers, review cases and/or interviews, and read and discuss current research articles and other resource materials in the field.

Lisa Martinez recently was asked by the American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children (APSAC) to join their faculty team to assist with peer review and training opportunities.
