CACCE Event Update
Association To Hold One Event This Year
Just a quick reminder that we have cancelled the 2020 CACCE Staff Leadership Development Conference in Hilton Head Island, SC and will be combining that programming with our 2020 Annual Management Conference scheduled for October 27-30, 2020 in Wrightsville Beach, NC. We will share the conference agenda and registration material later this summer.

Anderson Area Chamber
The Chamber recently released a Community Pledge for Anderson County.

The Chamber's President & CEO, Pam Christopher, was recently honored as one of the 2020 GSA Business Report 25 Women of Influence.
Blowing Rock Chamber
Regina McCaughan has been named the Chamber's new Membership Director.
Charleston Metro Chamber
ACCE has awarded Kelly Killeen-Haupt of the Chamber with its Bronze Level Dana Ketterling Lifetime Sales Achievement Award, which recognizes Kelly for $175,000 in sales in chamber memberships throughout her career.
Garner Chamber
ACCE has announced that Kim Niskey has achieved Third Place in their Sales Contest in the Under $500,000 category for Number of New Personal Sales.
Greater Summerville/Dorchester County Chamber
The Chamber, as well as the Berkeley Chamber, are working alongside the Charleston Metro Chamber on One Region Ready, which has been renamed from reIGNITE.
Greater Winston-Salem, Inc.
The Chamber recently released a statement on racial injustice.
Greenwood Chamber
Angelle LaBorde, CCE has been named the Distinguished Citizen by the Blue Ridge Council of the Boy Scouts of America. She was honored at the Greenwood Friends of Scouting Benefit Dinner on June 25.

David Dougherty has been named Interim President & CEO of the Greenwood Chamber. He will continue in this position until a new CEO is hired. A search is underway to replace Angelle LaBorde. Her last day will be June 30, and she assumes her new duties at the Lexington Chamber & Visitors Bureau on August 3.
Greenville Chamber
Th e U.S. Chamber selected Carlos Phillips , Greenville Chamber President/CEO, to serve on its National Initiative on Inequality of Opportunity. The national steering committee includes five other leaders from business organizations nationwide .
Henderson-Vance Chamber
The Chamber has been promoting “Keep AdVANCEing our local economy” as a way to encourage spend local, shop local, support local efforts with our businesses here in Vance County opening back up in the Governor’s Phase II. Posters were printed and our Chamber staff is personally visiting our members to deliver them and we are posting pictures of our members with the posters on our Facebook page. It has been well received by our membership.
Jacksonville-Onslow Chamber
True Justice International will be honoring Chamber President Laurette Leagon on Tuesday, July 7 at their 2020 Women Changing the World Luncheon.
McDowell Chamber
The Chamber was recently recognized as the only local chamber to make the state's best list of resources for reopening guidance. The Chamber is listed on page 6 of this PDF, and we are very proud of the work our staff did to stay abreast of the resources our businesses needed.
Myrtle Beach Chamber
The Horry County Welcome Back Committee recently launched and the Greater Grand Strand Promise. The promise is a commitment by area business leaders, residents, and visitors to do their part to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 while supporting the economic recovery of our community.
Raleigh Chamber
The Chamber held their June 2020 Courageous Conversation event last week with the #BlackLivesMatter co-creator and the CEO of Ben and Jerry's. They also produce a weekly video on upcoming events and released a statement on systemic racism.
Rowan County Chamber
The Chamber recently released their We Stand United With Our Community message.
Union County Chamber
ACCE has recognized Nancy McCoy Duncan with their Dana Ketterling Lifetime Sales Achievement Award at the Platinum Level for achieving $750,000 in sales in chamber memberships throughout her career.
