Chamber members reached the donation goal of $5,000, and the Chamber matched it! So far, grants totaling just over $124,000 have been awarded with more money available. It has been great to help these small businesses !
Clayton Chamber
The Chamber is busy with several initiatives right now. The Chamber's Foundation has established a Small Business Grant Fund to award local businesses experiencing financial hardships with up to $2,000 grants. They are also in the process of filming a community-wide Ribbon Tying video and giving all participating businesses an "Open for Business" door decal . They also have a podcast series beginning in June - the "Mission in Motion Monday Update."

Myrtle Beach Area Chamber
The Chamber will be launching our Support Local Campaign on June 1. We invite everyone to “Show Your Love of the Beach” by shopping, staying, dining and playing local. We will have 30 second videos featuring investors from different business sectors that will be aired on all television stations in our area as well as radio and print promotions. The Accelerate Myrtle Beach task force has created and shared guidelines for restaurants, accommodations, golf courses, retail, attractions and non-tourism businesses. We have also provided printable signage that businesses can use as well as yard signs that say “We are open for business”. We continue to offer webinars and virtual networking events .
North Augusta Chamber
The Chamber has two pieces of news to share . They are pleased to welcome Jammie Howell as the organization's Membership Engagement Specialist. They will also host a Connect for Happy Hour with Your Pie North August on June 1. They will venture outside for a hybrid event, and Your Pie will be cooking with the Chamber on-site with others joining virtually from their kitchens.
Outer Banks Chamber
The Chamber launched the Chamber Hero program about a month ago. This program is designed to add $’s to the Chamber’s bottom-line that will allow us to have flexibility with member renewals; we can keep members on the membership a bit longer than usual in hopes that we can help them be able to pay their dues. I am attaching the “sticker” for this program as well as the flyer we used to kick it off. To date we have over $4,000 in sponsorship pledges for this program and have a lofty goal of $10,000. All who participate will be invited to a special celebration in October; this celebration will cost the chamber ZERO as we are getting everything donated .
